Sara Griffiths was elected to Llanelli Town Council in 2017, representing the Lliedi Ward. Sara sits on the Planning, Licensing and Consultation Committee on Llanelli Town Council.

Sara is a member of the Llanelli Joint Burial Authority, Town Twinning Committee, Selwyn Samuel Centre Committee and Well-Being of Future Generations Working Group.

Sara also sits on the Carmarthenshire Homeless Forum, One Voice Wales - Area Committee, Parc Howard Association and Tŷ Bryngwyn Hospice Committee.
